The article ‘Excellence in the sands of Arabia’ by Bro. Maqbool Ahmed Siraj in June is brings out the development and identity of Muslim World in particular. Such articles change the phase of Muslims in providing a positive identity of the community.

The donation of $ 10 billion to support the cause of education is a positive development in the Gulf. Perhaps this is the only such effort so far by any Gulf country to support the just cause of education. The Gulf region which remained backward in the present technologically advanced society, this huge amount of donation will be able to produce persons with IQ in the days ahead to compete in the global race.

The article on ‘Ameen Trust’ is an eye opener, how an organization even in small town can work for the development of the community. We as a community have innumerable number of organizations to work on theology and religious aspects. The time has come where smaller organizations take initiatives in changing the face of the community to be a better citizens of the civilized society.
