Two new Pharmacy Courses at Al-Ameen

The Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy will start 3-year diploma course, Pharma.D and 4-semester PG Baccalaureate in Pharmacy course form this year. The college has tied up with St. Martha’s Hospital and St. Philomena’s Hospital for clinical training.
According to Dr. Abdul Aziz of Al-Ameen Educational Society, the Al-Ameen Institute of Management has tied up with Reliance Industries for training of the MBA students. The Al-Ameen College of Arts and Science will introduce B.Com in Tourism from the new academic year, Dr. Aziz informed Islamic Voice.
Measi Academy of Architecture, Chennai

New Programme in M. Arch

The Measi Academy of Architecture will start the new programme Master in Architecture (M.Arch) from the new academic session. Principal Prof. Althaf Ahmed informed Islamic Voice that it will have an intake of 20 students. The Academy already conducts a Master in Real Estate Programme for the last three years. Jamia Millia confers degree of 'Doctor of Letters' on Ban Ki-Moon
New Delhi
Jamia Millia Islamia held a ‘Special Convocation’ on April 27, 2012, to confer the degree of ‘Doctor of Letters’ on Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary General to United Nations. Ban Ki-Moon is the eighth and current Secretary-General of the United Nations. He has been a career diplomat. His first posting was to New Delhi. In 2011, Ban Ki-Moon ran unopposed for a second term as Secretary-General and was unanimously re-elected to the post of Secretary General by the General Assembly. He will continue to serve in his current position until 31 December 2016.
