The major aspects involved are - Media Study, Analyzing Merits , Costs and Budgets available, Advertisements , Reporting and Review, Press Releases, Press Conferences, Contests and Demos, Event marketing, Accounts, Returns, flow of cash, Post event activities and much more.

Event Management is a million dollar industry. Its expected to generate a revenue of Rs.3500 crore by end of 2005 (according to FICCI). Even private functions like marriages and birthday parties are major customers for event managers. This assures that even a new entrant has not much to worry about his career growth.
