Amit Saraf, a 50-year-old Indian expat, made headlines by winning the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion for the second time. Saraf, who moved to Dubai from Bangalore after his first win in 2021, purchased his winning ticket (number 2813) on October 8, securing another $1 million prize. This remarkable win makes him the ninth person to claim the prestigious prize twice.

Saraf, an online trader and regular participant in the Dubai Duty Free draws, previously won a $1 million prize in January 2021, followed by a Mercedes Benz S500 (Carbon Black Metallic) in February 2023. In December 2023, he also won a Dh40,000 gift card during Dubai Duty Free’s 40th anniversary celebration.

Reflecting on his fortune, Saraf expressed deep gratitude, stating, “You literally saved my life… being persistent really pays off.”

In addition to Saraf’s win, George Mathew, another Indian national, won a Mercedes Benz S500 in the Finest Surprise draw, while Tarek Haddad, a Lebanese national, claimed an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 motorbike in the same series. Both winners are longtime participants in the Dubai Duty Free promotions.

These draws continue to attract global attention for offering life-changing prizes, showcasing the appeal and trust in the Dubai Duty Free promotions.
