Tehran (MNA): Iranian knowledge-based companies have exported $2.5 billion worth of products internationally, according to Touraj Amraei, Deputy CEO for Knowledge-Based Companies in Development Affairs.
Speaking at a meeting in Tehran focused on Uzbekistan, Amraei highlighted the key role of knowledge-based firms in expanding exports. Out of 10,000 such companies in Iran, around 1,500 are actively engaged in both import and export activities.
Emphasizing their significance, he noted that knowledge-based firms are crucial for achieving leadership in science and technology.
Uzbekistan, with its strong infrastructure, is a strategic market in Central Asia for Iranian knowledge-based exports and should be a priority for expansion efforts.
