TEHRAN: The COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) is set to establish the first Persian Culture and Language Training Department in India. This initiative aims to promote cultural convergence and offer training programs aligned with international standards in the Persian language.

The launch was confirmed during an online meeting last week between Ahmad Pourqasem, CINVU Education Director in Iran, and Aziz Mahdi, a PhD graduate in Persian Language and Literature and the CINVU representative in India. The department will collaborate with university professors who specialize in teaching Persian to non-native speakers, utilizing CINVU’s Quality Evaluation and Accreditation services (CEAQUALES).

CINVU is part of the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), under Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. Its mission is to enhance higher education in the Islamic world through advanced technology, focusing on promoting knowledge and empowering educational and cultural development in the region.
