Amman: Jordan has inaugurated its 32nd International Quran Competition, welcoming participants from 51 countries at the Islamic Cultural Center in the King Abdullah I Mosque, Amman, according to Iqna reports.

A Sacred Timing for the Event
The competition aligns with the last ten days of Ramadan, a spiritually significant period marking the revelation of the Quran. The event aims to celebrate Quranic recitation and memorization, drawing contestants from diverse backgrounds.

Jordan’s Commitment to Quranic Education
The Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs plays a crucial role in promoting Quranic learning, supporting over 2,200 Quranic centers across the country. In a historic move, the ministry will also print its own edition of the Holy Quran for the first time, further strengthening its commitment to Islamic scholarship.

The competition serves as a global platform for showcasing Quranic talent, fostering unity among Muslim nations, and preserving the art of Tajweed and Hifz.
