Yes. Wind has great power to move and shape things. It shapes the sand dunes in the deserts which keep changing according to the direction of the winds. Wind also erodes and polishes rocks. It is how it has eroded rocks in the American of Arizona and carved out arches, troughs and spires. It can also blow away the topsoil if the land if it is not covered with vegetation and enable deserts to expand. Winds also power windmills and move the blades of huge fans which can then be used to rotate turbines and produce electricity, or to lift water or even to grind grains. Wind also moves sail boats on rivers and seas.
