Abu Qatadah reported that the Messenger (Pbuh) said: “Fasting the Day of ‘Arafah expiates the sins of two years: past one and coming one.] Hazrath Aisha reported that the Messenger (Pbuh) said: “There is no day on which Allah frees people from the fire as He does on the Day of Arafah”.
