At a celebration marking Saudi National Day, Paknejad, head of the joint Iran-Saudi economic committee, extended warm congratulations to the Saudi government and people. He highlighted Iran’s commitment to deepening relations with Saudi Arabia under the leadership of President Masoud Pezeshkian, stressing that cooperation between the two key Persian Gulf nations is essential for regional stability and prosperity.

Iranian officials, including former Economy Minister Ehsan Khandouzi, have engaged in successful talks with their Saudi counterparts, focusing on public-private sector cooperation. Both countries are working on a roadmap for economic collaboration following the resumption of diplomatic ties in 2023.

The private sector is set to play a pivotal role in developing bilateral trade, with Iranian industries, including high-tech, health, and petrochemical sectors, eager to engage in Saudi markets. Both nations have emphasized collaboration in exhibitions and trade facilitation to boost relations.
