Bengaluru: The Al-Ameen Education Society will be launching its Al-Ameen Mumtaz Ahmed Khan Civil Services Academy at its Hosakote campus in July 2018. This was stated by Abdus Subhan Shariff, General Secretary of the Society. Shariff said the Academy will admit 100 students with 50 boys and 50 girls who will be provided furnished accommodation, food and study material with coaching.
The Academy is being set up at a cost of Rs. 4.5 crore. Of this, the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah will be extending financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 1.8 crore. The 30-acre Hosakote campus consists of Al-Ameen Residential School, an Islamic Research Academy and a PU College. It is located 30 kilometres east of Bengaluru on the road to Kolar.
Shariff said the Society will be selecting 20 meritorious boys and girls from the Pre University itself and groom them for the Civil Services through intensive coaching.
Auditorium: The Al-Ameen College on Hosur Road in the city commissioned its 1,000-set auditorium in December 2016. It was constructed in the commercial block facing the Bengaluru’s famed Lal Bagh Botanical Garden at a cost of Rs. 1.62 crore.
NAAC Accreditation: The National Accreditation Assessment Council granted A grade to the Al-Ameen Degree College, B+ to to the Al-Ameen Law College and B++ grade to the Al-Ameen Institute of Management.
