AMU invites essays on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s thoughts on Tolerance
Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University has invited essay on “Importance of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s Thought on Tolerance and Peaceful Coexistence in Today’s World”. Three cash prizes, of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000, will be awarded to first, second and third best essays.
The essay is open for only college and University students studying above 12th standard and should be around 3,000 words. The hard copy of the essay should be forwarded to the Public Relations Officer, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002 and emailed to [email protected] by September 29, 2018. The prizes will be distributed on Sir Syed Day on Oct. 17, 2018. State toppers of the essay competition will be also offered a consolation prize of Rs. 5,000. A bonafide certificate of the Head of the Dept of the College should also be attached with the submission of the hard copy of the essay. The winners of the first, second and third prizes will be invited to the AMU for presentation of the awards.
