New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications for the award of fellowships for the year 2015-16 under Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) for the benefit of Minority Students belonging to Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi communities for pursuing studies leading to M.Phil / Ph.D degree (full time) in Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences.
There are 756 slots every year for all the subjects. Three per cent fellowships are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates belonging to Minority Candidates as per provision laid down by the Government of India.
Merit will be the basis of selection. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the fellowship, eligibility etc. may be seen by logging on to the UGC Last date is June 30, 2015.
