Islamiah College for Women, Vaniyambadi – B.Sc in Physics and Interior Design Proposed

Vaniyambadi: The Islamiah Women’s College is likely to get approval for B.Sc in Physics and Interior Deisgn from the new academic year 2018-19. Vice Principal Ariefa Basheer informed on phone that the college has applied for starting these programmes this year and is likely to receive approval from the University. She said the labs required for the two courses have already been readied.
The college runs PG programmes in M.Com, M.Sc (Computers), M.Sc Maths, M.Sc Nutrition and M.A. in English literature. The strength of the college has gone up to 2,275. A majority of the PG students are girls from non-Muslim communities. Contact ph: 04174-235266)
