Malacca: The proposed Jurassic Park at the Malaysia beachfront here, touted to be the first of its kind in Asia, has Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam excited. The first phase of the project is expected to cost about RM200mil, with some 200 dinosaur models to be exhibited at the site. He said the artificial dinosaurs would be operated through electronic and hydraulic systems. Mohd Ali said the giant exhibits would roar when you walk past them while the theme park would combine education, thrills and state-of-the-art technology. Apart from Jurassic Park, the ambitious tourism project will house an underwater aquarium where visitors can watch dolphins, sharks and other deep sea creatures up close.
