Pune: The Indian Muslim Entrepreneurs Network (IMEN) will hold its first conference on February 7 at Sun N Sand Hotel between 8-30 am and 5 pm. According to Tauseef Malik, the conference aims at fostering the entrepreneurial spirit among the Indian Muslims in order to contribute to the national economy. Malik who is the initiator of the Muslim Spelling Bee in the United States under the TMA Worldwide, told Islamic Voice from Pune, the theme of the conference is ‘Be an Entrepreneur, Be a Value Creator’. There will be panel discussions on ‘Networking for business enhancement’, ‘Role of Women in Business and community, and ‘Startups and Innovation’. The IMEN is a joint initiative by Anees Kutty, Tauseef Malik and A Ghaffar Khan. Anees Kutty had been training youth for National Defence Academy (NDA) and concentrating on removing maths-phobia. His efforts have resulted in 350 youth being successful in joining the NDA. Ghaffar Khan is the founder of Uniquee Foundation and works with a leading research agency.
