Hyderabad: Foundation for Economic and Educational Development (FEED) distributed family kits among the 250 families of the Burma refugees camping at Shaheen Nagar, Barkas and Balapur on November 26. The kits containing essential clothing, bedding material and food grains for a month were worth Rs. 10.30 lakhs.  According to a press release from Ghiasuddin Babukhan, managing trustee of the FEED, many donors including MERCY-USA contributed money for the kits.  The organization has surveyed individual families living in ordinary rented accommodations in outlying areas of the city and would help them in second phase. These will include sewing machine so that women could eke out a living.
