Young Muslims from Manipur Felicitated

Imphal: The Muslim Social Workers’ Union (MSWU) felicitated young Muslim achievers here on November 18. The newly inducted Parliamentary Secretary for Minority and Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes (MOBC and SC), Science and Technology, Md. Amin Shah and nine Muslim candidates who cleared the Manipur Civil Services Examination 2010, conducted by the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC), were felicitated for their achievements at a programme in Imphal. The function was attended by representatives of some of the prominent Muslim civil organizations, like All Manipur Meitei Pangals (Muslims) Welfare Association (AMMPWA), All Manipur Muslim (Pangal) Women Organisation (AMPWO), All Manipur Muslim Co-ordinating Committee (AMMCOC) and Pangal Students’ Organisation (PSO).
