Prof. Angadi Honnursab Rajasab (A. H. Rajasab) was appointed vice chancellor of Tumkur University on July 27. He was the dean of science faculty and head of the department of Botany in Gulbarga University prior to taking over as the Vice Chancellorship at Tumkur. He holds a doctorate in plant pathology from Mysore University. He has guided 15 Ph.D and 20 M.Phil students and has 33 years of teaching experience. He also taught at Tabuk University in Saudi Arabia for two years. He has 55 scientific publications to his credit. He will hold the office for a full tenure of four years.
