VME Society officer-bearers

Dr. Anwarullah Haji is the new general secretary of the over century old Vaniyambadi Muslim Educational Society. He was elected to the post in the elections held on March 18. Mr. T. Mohammad Mubeen and Moda Ahmed Basha retained the post of the President and the Vice President of the organization which runs the famous Islamiah College, now imparting courses up to post-graduate stage. They were elected unopposed. 437 of the total 720  members of the general body participated in the elections. L. M. Muneer is the new secretary and correspondent of the Islamiah College, while Ghani Mohd Jawed is the secretary and correspondent of the Islamiah Women’s college. Qaisar Ahmed has been elected as the secretary of the Islamiah College of Education. H. Abdul Haleem has been elected secretary of the Islamiah Boys Higher Secondary School.
