JMI ““ NISE MoU for Green Energy

New Delhi: Advance Power Electronics Research Lab of Jamia Millia Islamia’s Department of Electrical Engineering recently signed an MoU with the government-owned National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), under which the two sides will share their expertise and resources to meet the national objective of green energy and power efficiency.
The Advance Power Electronics Research Lab, headed by Dr. Ahteshamul Haque, has received RandD grant from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
The MoU was signed by JMI Registrar, Mr. A. P. Siddiqui, and NISE Director General, Mr. A. K. Tripathi, in the presence of JMI Vice Chancellor, Prof Talat Ahmad and Prof. Hina Zia, Head of Department of Electrical Engineering.
