Safa Baitul Maal constructs Homes for Muzaffar Nagar Riot Victims

Over 40,000 peopple were left helpless and homeless due to the communal riots in Muzaffar Nagar and surrounding areas, two months ago. Safa Baitul Maal Charitable Trust, under the leadership of the central president, Maulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi has taken the initiative and bought land worth Rs.40 lakhs in Keerana, Shamli district. About Rs.20 Lakhs has been paid and another Rs.20 lakhs has to be paid in December 2013. Maulana Gayas toured the affected areas extensively and decided to take up the mission to construct 100 houses and the work has begun and this would help in allotting houses to 70 riot victims who have not been compensated by the government.
