New Delhi: Movement for Empowerment of Indian Muslims (MOEMIN) in collaboration with Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), Amiable Charitable Trust and several other groups is organizing the second Social Leadership Summit (2016) “ from March 4 to 6, 2016 at India Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The workshop will be attended by politicians, bureaucrats, academicians, intellectuals and civil society activists of national stature. Representatives of more than 350 NGOs from across the country interact with each other for future planning. Besides inaugural and valedictory sessions, the working sessions will take up the following themes: I. Idea of India and Indian Muslims, 2. Social Entrepreneurship and Community Development, 3. Positive use of Media and Social Media for Empowerment and Image Building of Indian Muslims, 4. Role of Indian Muslim Youth in Nation Building. 5. Challenges of Terrorism, 6. Skill Development Initiatives, 7. Corporate Social Responsibilities and expectations of Muslims, 8. FCRA: Challenges and Resolutions. Mr. Navaid Hamid, General Secretary of the Organising Committee of the MOEMIN has appealed to all concerned activists and representatives of Muslim NGOs to participate in the Summit.
