Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, has been awarded the highest “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for the second time. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, MAANU’s Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the university’s students, teachers and staff for this achievement. “The only university in the country providing higher education through Urdu medium has withstood different tests and evaluation to come out with flying colours. This is no mean achievement”, he remarked.
Recently, the University announced that it would offer Ph.D. and M.Phil programmes in 17 different departments along with a “Bridge Course” to integrate madrasa pass-outs into mainstream education at the undergraduate level.
