A Little Greeting That Made Such a Great Difference!

A man was working with an ice factory. It was almost the day end. The workers began to pack their things and began checking out. In the meanwhile, a technical snag developed in the plant and the man went to check. By the time he finished, it was late. The doors were sealed and the lights had been off.
Trapped inside the ice plant for the night without air and light, an icy grave was almost sure for him!
Hours passed thus. Suddenly he found someone opening the door.
Was it a miracle?
The security guard entered with a torch and helped the man come out.
On the way back the man asked the security guard, “How did you know that I was inside? Who informed you, brother?”
The guard said, “No one informed me, sir. This unit has about 50 people. But you are the only one who says “hello!” to me in the morning and “bye!” in the evening. You had reported in the morning, and as usual had also said “hello” to me. But I noticed that you did leave the factory in the evening. You didn’t say “bye” to me. That made me suspicious. That’s why I went out looking for you.”
The man never knew that a small gesture of greeting the guard would prove to be a lifesaver for him.
