 The Shaheen Group of Institutions, Bidar has started the Shaheen Civil Services Academy for coaching of students for civil services competitions here at the premises of Taha Trust at Armstrong Road in Shivajingar area of the city.
After having conducted an entrance test, the Academy has selected 67 students from among 400 who took part in it, for the Foundation Course. The foundation course will be run under the supervision of Dr. P. C. Jaffer, IAS and currently Deputy Commissioner of Bidar. It was inaugurated by Karnataka Minister for Information Mr. R. Roshan Baig. Health Minister U. T. Khader was the chief guest.
The Group will conduct awareness camp in all the 28 districts of the State regarding participation in the civil services competitive exams.
The Foundation Course will be of 45-day duration and students will be provided free board and lodging facilities.
