Govt. Unani College in Haryana

Nooh (Haryana): The BJP Government in Haryana has sanctioned a Unani College for the Mewat region of Haryana. The Government of Haryana has issued a GO to set up a Unani College at Akira village where six acres of land has been offered by the village panchayat for the setting up of the Unani College. The Minister for Health in Haryana, Mr. Anil Vij said the people of Mewat had pleaded for a Government Unani College during his public interactions, last October. A Unani Hospital will come up first at the venue, to be followed by Unani Medical College which will have an intake of 50 students every year, for the Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery course. Admission will be through common entrance test.
