Palla (Nuh Dist-Haryana): The Mewat Engineering College established by the Haryana Wakf Board in 2010 as a Muslim Minority educational institution has announced admissions for the next academic year (2016-17). The College offers a 4-year B.Tech course in Civil, Mechanical, Electronic and Electrical, and Electronic and Communication Engineering.
The College campus is located in a 28 acres premises in the scenic backdrop of the Aravalli Ranges and is located in Nuh on the Nuh-Pataudi Road about 48 km from Gurgaon and 80 km from New Delhi. It is skirted by a 600 year old Dargah and a mosque in the foothills. The College has fully furnished laboratories with modern equipment, spacious class rooms, Central Workshop, Computer Centre, Language Lab, and tutorial rooms. The College has a computerized Central Library with Libware software working on OPAC module and has more than 18,000 volumes and extends book bank facilities to students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the facility is also available in the hostel.
Last year several students from the college were recruited by companies like Apollo Tyres, IGATE, GMT Industries, Q-Test, PHY Market Research, Market Magnify Global, Aricent, Earth Iconic Infrastructure, K. R. Rubberite, Hitachi, CMS IT, Scope Telecom etc.
