Manama: The Bahrain-based Gulf University held its first media forum under the theme of “Media and Arabian Gulf Challenges” recently. The participants debated on security and economic challenges facing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, in the light of international political and media shifts. Gulf University President Dr. Muhannad Mashhadani stressed the importance of the forum, which focused on the vital role of the media in highlighting the Arabian Gulf challenges.
