Bengaluru: The Sulaiman Zubaida Educational and Charitable Trust gifted an ambulance with mobile clinic to the Halai Memon Jamaat on April 13 at a function organized at the Yaqeen Shah Wali Dargah. The mobile clinic will visit the colonies inhabited by the members of the Jamaat and others and treat the sick persons.
The Jamaat has also decided to construct a Marriage Hall in Govindpur locality of Bengaluru at an estimated cost of Rs. four crore and 36 flats for the members of the Jamaat at a cost of Rs. three crore. The Jamaat owns a plot of 25,000 sq. ft. in the locality for the purpose. Halai Memon Jamaat Trust Chairman, Yunus Mohammed said the Trust has provided houses and other amenities to 1200 underprivileged members of the community in Thanisandra, Nayandahalli etc. He hinted that the Trust would set up a computer lab for the training of the community youth.
