Vaniyambadi: The AMU Study centre that was opened here last month would enable madrassa graduates to take up B.A.(Hons) course in seven subjects. The Centre would admit students till September 10. Madrassa graduates can enroll for this distance education course with choice of seven subjects i.e., Urdu, Arabic, Communicative English, Islami Studies, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, and Sociology. It even enrolls students for B.Com course. The students can even choose Urdu as medium for the BA (Hons) course.
