Jodhpur: A Minority Girls Hostel with accommodation capacity for 56 girls was inaugurated here in the premises of the Marwar Muslim Educational and Welfare Society group of institutions on October 2, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday. The Hostel has been constructed by the Jodhpur Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs. 1.85 crore. Former Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot commissioned the building which has 14 rooms. Speaking at the occasion, he hoped that the hostel would offer better educational opportunities to the girls from the minority communities. State Wakf Board chief Liyaqath Ali and several other dignitaries participated in the function.
