Firozabad, U.P.: Islamic Centre Firozabad recently organized a Sirat-un-Nabi Quiz. The meeting was attended by many influential, political, social, religious, and intellectual figures. Muslim Personal Law Board member, eminent religious scholar, Imam and Khatib of Lucknow Eidgah, Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mehli was invited as a chief guest.
While addressing Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mehli said that there are many challenges facing today’s young generation. These challenges can only be met by bringing the teachings of the life of the Prophet (PBUH) into one’s life. He emphasized that science, technology, medicine, and various fields of study in contemporary times should not be separated from the teachings and education that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left to us.
On this occasion, Maulana Alam Mustafa Yaqoobi, Director, Islamic Centre, Firozabad, said that Islamic Centre, Firozabad, aims to fulfill the social and educational needs of all people, irrespective of religion and caste, and to take the country on the path of development.
While convening the program, Maulana Sayyed Saadi Qasmi said that the Islamic Centre Firozabad has been active for the last nine years to cater to the financial and domestic needs of the elderly, children, widows, youth, and the needy. The organization has the support of all intellectuals, religious scholars, administrative officers, and political figures of Firozabad. Islamic Centre’s tree-planting campaign, blood donation camps, visits to old aged homes, medical camps, cyber-awareness programs, distribution of PPE kits for doctors, thousands of masks and sanitizers to people on roads during the Covid lockdown period, distribution of ration kits, helmets for road-safety are the works that verify their urge and dedication to step into the field and do some good of the humanity.
On this occasion, the new magnificent building of the Islamic Centre was also inaugurated. The students who achieved success in the Sirat-un-Nabi quiz, Muhammad Talha, Gul Bahar, Sanobar, Muawiyah, Umm Salma, and Muhammad Bilal, were awarded trophies and cash prizes of around fifty thousand rupees. Consolation prizes and certificates were given to other participants as well. C.O. of Police, city Firozabad, Hari Mohan Singh especially praised the public popularity of Islamic Centre Firozabad and its achievements by his presence. Dr. Rehan Farooqi of FH Medical College, Maulana Naeem-ur-Rehman Siddiqui (Member UP Sunni Central Waqf Board), Zakir Shamim Alig, Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Dr. Saud-ul-Hasan (Member CISCE), Wajihuddin and others beside Mufti Akram Mustafa Ayubi, Maulana Adam Mustafa Sufi, and the spirit of all these activities, Master Syed Muhammad Ahsan were specially present.
