New Delhi: A resident of Shahdara registered a complaint with the Delhi Minorities Commission that Delhi Police Inspector Keshav Kumar misbehaved with him. This officer did not file a reply to the notices issued by the Commission and failed to attend the hearings called by the Commission to probe the complaint. Taking a serious view of this disobedience of a statutory body, the Commission wrote to his higher authorities to take action against him. As a result, a show-cause notice was served on him. The authorities did not find his reply satisfactory and have issued censure order against him. The officer has one month to appeal against the censure. In another development, the Delhi Minorities Commission issued a notice to the DCP Seelampur to probe and furnish a report about the recent midnight attack on the hostel of Madrasa Babul Uloom in East Delhi while students were asleep.
