Imphal: The Manipur Minorities and OBC Economic Development Society (MOBEDS), an autonomous unit of Department of Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC), is scheduled to launch a 6-month remedial coaching programme for the Muslim students of Manipur on October 20, 2013. The remedial coaching will be done in nine Muslim concentrated areas of the State, which include Khetrigao, Sangaiyumpham, Kwakta, Thoubal Moijing, Yairipok, Sora, Irong Chesaba, Jiribam and Lilong. 70 tutors have been selected for the coaching. They were given their appointment letters along with their posting. In nine centers, coaching will be given from Class VI to X, while three other centers at Sangaiyumpham, Lilong and Kwakta will give coaching for XI-XII. The remedial coaching will be formally launched at Kwakta, in Moirang.
