Urdu Book Fair

Bangalore: The Karnataka Urdu Academy will hold the Urdu Book Fair in Bangalore from September 7 to 15. Fifteen Urdu Academies from various states and around 40 Urdu publishers will participate in the Fair. It will host various cultural programmes on each day of the 9-day event. A meeting of the consultation committee was held here on June 3. Research officers of the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language S. Shahnawaz Khurram, Dr. Syed Kaleemullah, member of the NCPUL Mr. Ubaidullah Sharief, and Karnataka State Urdu Academy Registrar Mirza Azmathullah and Haj and Wakf Undersecretary Abbas Sharief participated in the meeting.
