Work Starts on Girls Hostel

Bangalore: Construction work for a Girls Hostel under the aegis of Hazrat Hameed Shah Dargah committee commenced here on May 23. Business magnate and Chairman for the India Builders Corporation, Ziaulla Sheriff has undertaken the funding of the project which will accommodate 200 girl inmates. Currently the Committee is maintaining a hostel for 50 girls in a rented premises for the last 10 years. Though foundation stone for the hostel was laid three years ago, the work hit the bureaucratic bottleneck and could not proceed for want of licence from the civic authorities.
