Winner of the Life Time Achievement Award from Federation of Karnataka Caterers, on 25th March 2019
Born in the year 1955 in Bangalore, Mr. Muneer Ahmed Khan comes from a humble background and was originally taking care of his family profession of men’s tailoring unit in Commercial Street. He began his journey in outdoor catering by the name of MK Caterers way back in the year 1987 along with his cousin brother Mr. Khalid Khan when the term of catering or caterers was unheard of among the people especially among the Muslim community. Slowly he managed to carve a niche for himself in the small market then with its friendly customer centric approach and became a one stop shop for clients for all their needs relating to any function or wedding related queries, There were hardly 2-3 caterers during the late 80s and early 90s and his early success inspired many others to take the plunge in this field, since the demand was huge for taking orders to serve 20-30 people at once, he has expanded his business where the company can handle 4-5 events catering to more than 10,000 people at a time. He is now ably supported by his son Mr. Farhan Khan and his bother-in-law Mr. Tanveer Khan.AUTHOR: Islamic Voice
