Appointed:

Dr. Md. Haneef, Principal of the Ghousia College of Engineering, Ramanagram has been appointed member of academic senate of the Visvesvaraya Technological University for three years beginning from 2013.
New Minister in TN: S. Abdur Raheem, MLA from Avadi has been inducted into Tamilnadu’s cabinet by Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha in place of A. Mohammed Jan who has been dropped. Abdul Rahim will handle backward classes, most backward classes, held by Mohammedjan, 
and denotified communities, overseas Indians, refugees and evacuees and minorities welfare including Wakf.
