Motipur Masjid Imam created a historical Record by leading 71 years of Tarawihs

Hafiz Md Salim Sb, the Pesh Imam of the Motipur Masjid, Moti market, Gandhi Chowk Rd, Motipur, Bihar, is now 90 years old and has led Tarawih Prayers from 1950 here till 2021. He led Tarawihs for 71 years in Motipur Masjid. Due to age, he stopped leading the Tarawih Prayers in 2021.

The Motipur Masjid was built in the 1930s by Abdul Rahim Oosman, a Cutchi Memon businessman from Kolkata, who also founded the Motipur Sugar Factory. PO Motipur Muzaffarpur.
