Communal harmony is very much the need of the hour today in India. Each one of us can do our best in our own ways to nurture it. Every year, under the central government plan, during the month of November, a communal harmony week was being organized in memory of late Mrs Indira Gandhi. I too was invited in the program to talk about peace and such related issues in Islam. As a common citizen of India, it is very important to be a part of such programs, to build peaceful relations with members of all religions and communities.
