Ghazala Faisal, a UPSC 89 batch Indian Engineering Service Officer, is a Telecom Engineering graduate and an alumnus of IIM Indore. She is a Management professional having hands-on 30 years of cross-functional experience in the telecom industry. She is well versed with technology and has a fair understanding of the dynamics and trends of the industry. With a visionary attitude, strategic orientation, and focussed project execution, she is very hopeful of contributing towards the government’s objectives of promoting growth while aligning it with national, social, and economic development. Having core competence in Strategy, Planning, and Project execution related to IT or ITES, she is interested in injecting IT into Education and Skilling.

She started her career as Assistant Professor at Govt Engineering College Ujjain.

As part of the ITS, the fraternity has worked in various roles starting from Divisional Engineer to General Management and completed Projects worth approximately thousands of Crores. Was heading the Marketing & BD team in Indore Telecom District when the competition was first introduced in the Indian Telecom space in 1999, conceptualized and implemented marketing strategies and tactical sales plan to increase sales and retain market share. Has the distinction of implementing many FIRSTs.

Current responsibilities as DDG (DoT, MP) since 2013 improving telecom services in Madhya Pradesh. Coordination for India’s projects with various stakeholders viz State Govt, TSPs, LEAs, BBNL.

Journey Into Spirituality and Social Work
In her pursuit for spiritual knowledge, she joined Classical Islamic learning and is now in her 6th year of the Aalimah Course.

Her journey into the world of training started when she joined social work and realized the need for transformation and counseling more than anything else.To systematically achieve her objective, she founded a Value-Based Life Skills program in the name BALANCING LIFE. She founded a charity organization in the year 2012 (www.thesubmission.org).

In addition to being a philanthropist and passionate trainer, she is also a Certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, certification by the American Federation of NLP, USA.
Ghazala Faisal is a visionary and aspires to develop an education and learning system ecosystem where the best academics are imparted to a child, emphasizing moral values and spiritual guidance. She draws her inspiration for social work and charity from Qur’an.
