Three of the 11 students adopted, coached, trained and groomed by the LEAD Trust here were able to crack the IIT-JEE 2012 for admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) this year. They are: Ghazi Sabeehuddin of Adilabad (rank 6159), Mohammed Afnaz K. from Calicut (rank 7035) and Ashfaq E. Malayil (rank1367) from Malappuram in Kerala. For two years, these students did their PUC at Al-Ameen PU College, Bangalore and underwent rigorous and customized training by renowned
coaching institute – TIME “ targeted towards IIT-JEE 2012. Admission into LEAD is still Open. In a press release, secretary Ali Shariff said, the Trust is still inviting candidates for admissions for the last few seats for LEAD Scholars Batch of 2014. Students, who have just completed 10th Std this year, and who have scored A+ or 95% and above in Science and Mathematics, and who are keen to prepare for IIT-JEE 2014 should contact the Trust to schedule a test and interview. Successful students will be enrolled for the Scholars Batch of 2014 programme at Al-Falah PU College, Magadi, a small town, 74 kms north of Bangalore. Classes will commence on June 2, 2012.
