New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications for the award of 756 fellowships for the year 2013-14 under Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) for the benefit of minority students belonging to Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi communities. The fellowship will cover the students who are pursuing M.Phil/Ph.D degree (full time) in Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences. However, the students availing themselves of the benefit of JRF of UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET are not eligible to apply. Selection will be made on the basis of merit. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the fellowship, eligibility etc may be seen by logging on to the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in.
