Director and Editor

The key figure while making a film is director. But in bringing out a newspaper, editor plays the main role. What do they do? The director directs the actors to act and rehearse the role several time till he is satisfied. Only then he says ‘action’ and the scenes are filmed. A series of such images help make the films exciting.
In a newspaper, the Editor directs the entire coverage of events. He knows the policy of the paper, knows what to report, with what angle, which photos should go into the paper, what to be criticized, what must be praised, what suggestions to be made and how much length a story should be assigned, in which page and section it must be displayed etc.
