Bengaluru: The BET Sadathunnisa Women’s College will be introducing Bachelor’s in Computer Application (BCA) from the new academic year. The college has come under the Bangalore Central University after the trifurcation of the Bangalore University which had around 700 colleges under it. According to Hony. Secretary of the BET, Mr. Saifulla, the intake will be 60.
Mr. Saifulla informed that the college introduced training in Tally-GST from the last academic session as an add-on course. Under this, the undergraduate students are provided one-hour training every day. This is sponsored by the Karnataka State Skill Development Council in collaboration with the Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation.
The BET degree college will introduce a one-year certificate course in Kannada from the new academic year, which will obviate the need for passing Departmental exam in Kannada for those selected for State Government jobs.
The BET institutions group will be commissioning its six-floor high school building shortly, which has been constructed adjacent to the existing campus.
