Kalburgi (previously Gulbarga): The Medical Council of India has permitted the Khaja Bande Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences to start MD courses in Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the new Academic year. Principal Dr. Nazir Ahmed informed Islamic Voice that they have sanctioned just one seat under both categories.
The Institute run by the Khaja Bandenawaz Education Society will be shifting its 500-bed hospital to a new building later this year.
