Someone has very rightly said, “No matter how much you think you hate school, you will always miss it when you leave.” I feel sorrow writing about my school days memories, but at the same time, I’m glad too to share my school memories.

The first school was discovered by Horace Man, who was born in 1796 in Franklin. Before his discovery, no one knew about school. But today, school has become an essential part of everyone’s life. It gives knowledge and education and builds one’s personality, teaches values like discipline, etiquette, manners, the way of living, etc. The school takes care of every child from the very beginning, and the teachers teach with love. They treat every child like their own child.

My School life is the happiest part of my life. I remember how I cried in the beginning for not going to school, and now when it is ended, I feel deeply emotional. Well, I have so many sweet memories.

I still remember; I hated waking up in the morning and dressing up to go to school, recalling all the previous day’s homework that was forced upon us all. I used to think to myself every day, “Oh God! When will I grow up and there’ll be no burden of studies all the freaking time”. Really I wouldn’t say I liked to wear the school dress, the shoes, but now when I look back, I realize how beautiful those things were, now I cherish them. I remember how I love covering my textbooks in brown paper bags at the start of each year. I used to be super excited about new stuff like new pencils, new books, new colors, and many more. I miss that sharing lunches with friends and eating before the lunch break was the best part of the school. Making excuses for not doing the homework and telling the teacher that I have done it, but forgot to bring it, that bunking of boring classes, that teasing friends and gossiping with friends, ah! Really I miss everything.

The Journey of fourteen years of school has been ended, and I look back; it is no less than a fairy-tale. Really school life is a blessing for every student. The joys of school life are indeed countless.
