Yadgir (Karnataka): Girls have taken the top two slots in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results in Yadgir district.
Namira Umama, daughter of Sarfuddin, an employee of the Education Department in Yadgir, has emerged the topper. She has secured 619 marks with 98.72%. Namira is a student of Saba High School. Ms. Namira said that she wants to become a doctor and serve poor people in rural areas. She said her mother Ameena Roohi, a teacher in Urdu Medium School, was her biggest support.
