Mohsina in Under-19 Football Team

Bangalore: Mohsina Fathima, a student of PUC second year from the City has been included in the six member under-19 football team headed for Brazil where they would play matches which are part of Hope Festival. Thirty two teams from around the world would participate in the festival and play football matches.
Mohsina would be travelling with Pallavi, Bhaskar, Srikant S., Praveen Kumar and S. Rajeshwari and will leave Bangalore on July 1. Their return is scheduled for July 18.
Mohsina is daughter of an auto driver who has five daughters. She passed SSLC from Excellent School in Bismillah Nagar in 2013 with 89% marks. According to Ms. Benazeer Baig, the honorary secretary of the Raza Education and Welfare Society which runs the Excellent School, Mohsina was an exceptionally bright girl from an underprivileged family and aspires to become an engineer. She is currently enrolled in NMKRV Women’s College, Jayanagar, Bangalore for PUC.
The trip to Brazil is being organized by NGO Dream A Dream working in Bangalore. She and her team mates would be taken to watch the FIFA semi-final in Sao Paolo.
